February Garden Meetings

Our first garden planning meeting of the season is set for this Monday, February 1st from 6 to 8p.m. at our local library:

We’ll be setting dates and making lists for all our spring activities: street tree planting, planting box assignments, electing officers, responding to the feral cat population, preparing soil and more. We’ll be planning for the Three Sisters Garden, Pablo memorial and other growing areas in our new layout. Come share your ideas and make this garden grow.

winter wonders of indoor gardens

n Saturday, February 6th, we’ll be at the New York City Community Gardens Coalition Forum, from 9am to 4:30p.m. at the New School, 66 West 12th St. Hope you will join us at this free forum to learn more about city gardens and their legal status. nyccgc.org, tel. 888 311-3993

Our regular garden meetings resume this month, and the second Saturday is February 13th. Please reply with your availability for this President’s Day weekend and second Saturdays generally this season. We are proposing a meeting at 1p.m. at an indoor location to be determined on Saturday, February 13th.
